This 180,000-square-foot educational facility required extensive coordination, manpower, and expertise across multiple construction disciplines to successfully deliver a project of this magnitude.

Venice Fire Station #2

Venice, FL

The Venice Fire Station project presented a unique set of structural and architectural challenges that required precision, craftsmanship, and careful coordination from start to finish. Cougar Companies completed this project from the ground up, delivering every major structural component of the facility. The project included the construction of complex cast-in-place concrete arches that serve as a defining architectural feature of the station. Our team also constructed the fully operational CMU fire training tower, designed to provide firefighters with a realistic environment for training and emergency response exercises. As part of the architectural detailing, Cougar Companies also cast the fire station’s logo directly into the concrete, adding a distinctive and permanent visual element to the structure.

Wellen Park 6 & 7

Venice, FL

Wellen Park Buildings 6 & 7 required a high level of coordination and craftsmanship to deliver two structurally complex buildings featuring both architectural concrete and masonry elements. Cougar Companies completed the project from the foundations through the structural shell, performing all major concrete and masonry components.
