Project Overview
The new Florida Department of Law Enforcement facility in Fort Myers was a project that carried both significance and purpose. Cougar Companies was honored to play a role in the construction of a facility that supports the dedicated men and women who work tirelessly to protect our communities and keep our families safe. Constructed as a reinforced concrete tilt-wall building, our team completed the project from the foundations through the erection of the structural wall system. The scope included all foundation construction, tilt-wall panel forming and placement, and the coordination required to deliver a precise and efficient structural system. Beyond constructing the wall panels, Cougar Companies also performed the tilt-wall erection process. Our highly skilled crews, certified in crane signaling and rigging operations, worked closely with the crane operator to ensure each panel was safely and accurately placed according to exact project specifications. Safety remained at the forefront throughout every phase of construction, with careful planning and communication guiding each panel lift and installation. The FDLE Regional Operations Center reflects Cougar Companies' expertise in tilt-wall construction and our ability to execute projects that demand precision, coordination, and an unwavering commitment to safety. We are proud to have contributed to a facility that will support Florida's law enforcement professionals for generations and serve as an important resource for those dedicated to protecting our communities.
