The Captiva Island Inn project consisted of two separate elevated buildings designed to meet the demanding environmental conditions and stringent hurricane requirements of Florida's Gulf Coast. Constructed in a coastal setting with sandy soil conditions, the project required specialized foundation systems and structural solutions to ensure long-term stability and resilience.

Entrada Apartments

Cape Coral, FL

The Entrada Apartments project is a prime example of Cougar Companies' full-service capabilities, with every division working together to successfully deliver a large-scale multifamily development from the ground up. Our Civil Division completed the entire site infrastructure, including earthwork, underground utility installation, storm drainage, water and sewer systems, roadway construction, curb and gutter, and the finished asphalt paving. Through coordinated planning and execution, the site was transformed from raw land into a fully developed, construction-ready community. Following site development, our Vertical Division constructed six four-story apartment buildings and a central clubhouse, beginning with the foundations and continuing through the structural concrete and masonry phases. Our scope included reinforced concrete foundations, structural CMU, cast-in-place architectural archways, elevated concrete floor slabs on every level, and all associated structural concrete work required to complete the building shells.
