Estimating Intern - Spring 2027 | FGCU Students
FeaturedWe are seeking an FGCU student for a Spring 2027 Estimating Internship supporting competitive bids for civil construction and site-development projects in Southwest Florida. This local opportunity will provide practical experience reviewing project requirements, developing quantities and pricing, and helping prepare complete bid proposals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review construction plans and specifications.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost analysis.
- Organize subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Maintain bid documents and compare proposals.
- Assist estimators with scope development and bid preparation.
Requirements
- Current FGCU junior or senior pursuing a B.S. in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Interested in civil construction and eager to learn the estimating process.
Project Management Intern - Spring 2027 | FGCU Students
FeaturedWe are seeking an FGCU student for a Spring 2027 Project Management Internship supporting civil construction and site-development projects in Southwest Florida. This local opportunity will provide practical experience coordinating project information, tracking progress, and supporting project teams from preconstruction through completion.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist project managers with project documentation, schedules, and coordination.
- Review construction plans, specifications, submittals, and change information.
- Track RFIs, submittals, material deliveries, and project progress.
- Help organize meetings, reports, correspondence, and project records.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and office staff.
Requirements
- Current FGCU junior or senior pursuing a B.S. in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Interested in civil construction and eager to learn the project management process.
