Honey Bee RV Storage reflects Cougar Companies' ability to execute large-scale commercial construction with precision and efficiency. From initial site construction through the completion of key structural components, our team played a vital role in delivering this premier RV storage facility.
Scope of Work
The project began with the excavation and construction of more than 300 reinforced concrete foundations supporting the expansive canopy system that covers each RV storage space. Our crews also installed thousands of anchor bolts with exacting precision to ensure proper alignment of the structural steel columns, a critical element for the successful installation of the canopy structures.
In addition to the canopy foundations, Cougar Companies constructed the facility's CMU office building, providing a durable and attractive operations center for the property. Our scope also included the installation of concrete curbs, sidewalks, and the construction of the property's architectural monument sign using concrete masonry units, creating a cohesive and professional entrance.

Cougar Companies has reached another major milestone at Honey Bee RV Storage in Punta Gorda, Florida, with the completion of the project’s final major concrete pour.
From early site development through months of concrete construction, the project has steadily transformed into the large-scale RV storage facility seen today. This final pour represents the culmination of a tremendous amount of preparation, forming, reinforcing, placement, and finishing by the Cougar Companies team.
Southwest Florida construction brings its own challenges, especially during the summer heat. Our crews have continued to show up early, work through demanding conditions, and keep the project moving forward.

With the main structures and covered RV storage areas taking shape, the crew is continuing to pour and finish additional concrete throughout the site. From preparation and forming to placement and finishing, each new section is another piece of this large-scale facility coming together.
Working through the Southwest Florida summer adds another challenge. Long days, high temperatures, and demanding conditions don’t slow the work down. Our crews continue to battle the heat, maintain quality, and keep the project moving forward.
