   Behind the Pour: 617 Cubic Yards of Concrete in Fort Myers

   Before sunrise, the Cougar Companies crew was already at work at Quality Precast Solutions in Fort Myers. Starting at 2 AM, the team placed 617 cubic yards of concrete by 9 AM for the facility’s expansion on Industrial Drive.

   This video takes a closer look at the people and work behind a large commercial concrete pour. Preparing the forms and steel reinforcement, coordinating concrete deliveries, operating the pumps, and placing and finishing the slab each require a team working together.

   With two concrete pumps supporting placement, the crew worked through the early morning hours to bring the slab together. Behind every load of concrete was coordination between the field team, drivers, pump operators, and the people handling logistics behind the scenes.

   This project highlights the hands-on effort behind Cougar Companies’ concrete construction work in Fort Myers and across Southwest Florida. A big thank you to everyone who put in the early hours and hard work to make this pour happen.

   Concrete Slab Pour for Quality Precast Solutions in Fort Myers

   Cougar Companies placed 617 cubic yards of concrete for the Quality Precast Solutions expansion at 7958 Industrial Drive in Fort Myers. With a 2 AM start, the crew worked under the lights and through sunrise, completing concrete placement by 9 AM.

   The photos capture the work behind this large commercial concrete slab, from forming and securing steel reinforcement to pumping, placing, and finishing the concrete. Two concrete pumps supported the pour, with delivery trucks keeping material moving as crews worked across the slab.

   A project of this scale takes coordination long before the first truck arrives. Our field crews, pump operators, concrete delivery teams, and behind-the-scenes support each played a part in keeping the work moving from preparation through placement.

   This Fort Myers project highlights the teamwork and hands-on experience behind Cougar Companies’ concrete construction work across Southwest Florida. Thank you to the crews putting in the early hours and carrying that effort through the day.
